The CHAMBORD classic French press coffee maker was first designed and made in
the fifties and hasn't changed a lot since, therefore making it the true
original in French press coffee.

The frame and lid, which are made of steel, undergo many chrome plating
processes to obtain a durable shiny surface that will last for years and years
of heavy usage.

The only difference in the production process since the fifties is Bodum's
commitment to the environment and using environmentally friendly manufacturing
processes, which is especially important during the chrome plating process.

The French press system has always been the simplest and ultimate way of
brewing an truly great cup of coffee. To get the best possible cup of coffee,
use freshly coarse ground beans with water between 92 and 96 degrees Celsius.
